had fenzu today, while on the way back to school from the hawker centre during lunch i saw this person who looked like 王桂英老师.
me: eh that person looks like 王桂英老师!somehow she recognised us (me, Lilin, Benedict, Felix) and she touched my hair again -.- like almost every time she sees us she'll touch our hair (and mess it up) or something :o oh and she calls Benedict 小伙子 now -.- after that while teaching us how to 揉弦 she saw my hand and exclaimed "哎哟好瘦啊可以跟她 *points to WanZhen* 比美了!" and when i couldnt do 揉弦 properly she said "其实很简单的,你人小想太多了!" like wth, is there even a link? lastly, before we left at 5.45p.m. she said to me "长高一点哦!" -.-

finally decided to post since im already in blogger and i suddenly realized my blog is dead :) anyw i shall talk abt electives first :D Electives day 1 and 2: learnt abt DNA and cells etc (same as the one we learnt in Year1) microbiology is damn boring! -.- Electives day 3: skipped graded presentation cos of MC! :( then last day of school, got back our report books- got 3.8 GPA! :D Today: did open house school tour. walked like crazy! :0 anyway i changed the tagboard cos i forgot the username and pass for my old one -.- added in new smilies so go TAG! :) Wednesday, March 24, 2010

Island-wide street sale of CCF Tulips
had CIP with jiaxin, yuanhui, sijie and wenjia yesterday from 10a.m- 4p.m :) sold tulips for $2 each at MarineParade and outside Parkway to raise funds for the Children's Cancer Foundation... had to wear this horribly big T-shirt (size M) that was up to my knees (i folded it DUH!)...
whee anyway can get 6 CIP hours so who cares :D hmm bye!:)

had LEAPS talk and Sports Injury Prevention in the auditorium today, shall not elaborate on these boring stuff :) after that we had beach cleaning (CIP) which totally sucked :( rained very heavily on the way there, no shelter to 避雨 except for the few trash bags to hide under (which dint help at all), got super wet, and there was high-tide due to the rain which soaked us even more :( uh well...

ouch, my first toe on my right foot hurts like shit when i simply touch it, let alone when trying to carry a heavy 27kg load on it around the whole house. urgh! :(
anyway, today's P.E. lesson was both fun yet horrible in one way or other :) the awful part was when i had to be GK (i swear never to be GK again) and during the shooting competition :0 first try i shot 4 out of 5 while second try (ShaoShan was absent- i was doing for her) 4 out of 5 again! argh, when can i get perfect 5?! then after the shooting competition Ms Lee treated us to drinks as she had promised! yay :)

haven't updated my blog for like erm... 10 days? i've finally decided to post since some ppl (ahem!) keep asking me to do so :)
hmm during wednesday's P.E we had to run three rounds around the track, which was simply horrible! :( not because the distance was long, but horrible because the track was disgustingly red and the colour kept staining our shoes! eww, now the bottom of my shoes (which is barely 2 weeks old) is a mixture of brown and red, and so are my originally-white-but-now-pink shoe laces! eww .

Hey guys! i won't be posting that often during the June holidays, cos there is seriously nth to blog about :)
anyway today we had our chinese orchestra bonding camp that was supposed to be from 10.30a.m to 4.30p.m. but it ended up as 10a.m to 5.30p.m :(
hmm so when we first reached school Mr wong talked to us, then showed us a few video clips :) one of them "featured" him playing erhu some years ago, and everyone was like laughing & commenting .
after that we played some ice-breakers, followed by a one-and-a-half-hour lunch break! went to Macs- yay! :) after lunch went back to the CO room and we had amazing race! which i got seriously wet .
we played this game which like we had to answer questions and if we got it wrong, the opponent would have three cups of water to splash at you and everyone in my team got splashed at at least once... i hate to admit it, but the feeling of getting splashed is like very 爽:) especially in that hot weather...
so after we were like totally drenched we carried our shoes and socks, and walked bare-footed to class 1A (from the canteen), grimacing about the ground got a lot of sharp stones, very hot, and disgustingly dirty! and the worst thing is, we were not allowed to take the lift which was empty! :(
then we went to other stations and played other games, shall not elaborate :) i was finally quite dry after some time, but then the next activity was water-bomb! it was quite fun but we got damn wet.
haha :) then after that we played some other games and finally, it was the end of the Amazing race! we waited a while while the results were being collated but my team did not win (not surprising)... we also got our CO badge, paid $2 for it, kind of expensive. kays this is quite a long post, so bye! :P

played badminton during P.E today :) yuan hui told me that her primary school CCA was badminton, but she quit after 1 term. so wasted sia,半途而废, if not now become professional player le -.- lols. btw the badminton racket 臭臭de... stinks of sweat and even after i washed my hands with soap a few times, still got a bit of smell... eww! hope that we don't have to play badminton the next P.E. lesson!
then during Geography after recess we got back our Common Test two papers... BOO, i got ??/20, a huge de-prove-ment, considering that i got 12/15 for Common Test one! argh :(
anyway today was the last science lesson with mr hong! nobody was like paying attention to him while he went through the answers for some worksheets; me and sonia din't even bring them down to the lab...
anyway i'm gonna end my post short here, since i have to off the computer now... lastly, H1N1 spread to singapore le! (that was random)

today we had our last LSP lesson, cos next term we'll be starting on conversational Malay:) anyw, today we finally completed our assignment on organizing a party (table setting and napkin folding)... my group (vivian, crystal, DJ & me) did on Halloween/ thanks-giving and we completed it like within 45min? :) so the other o.0 after LSP me, isabel, regine, sijie, and joshua did our LA project on Animal Farm... im acting as a ??? today we got back the results of the other 20 marks of our Chinese CT2 paper and i got 15.5/ 20... so add with the other 66/ 80 is erm 81.5% :) yay thats an A plus! i improved by 21.5 marks compared to CT1 and thats a good thing :) on the other hand (the negative side), that shows how badly i did for the previous test! haha... nono must be more positive- i improved :)
then during Maths we got back our maths CT2 papers... i got 20.5/ 28, also improved by a few marks :) but i got many stupid mistakes like Q1 (the easiest question)! :(

hmm today we had our actual 2.4km run, and i just found out about it this morning when i was reading the class notice board -.- then wenjia was like, "aiyo! you now then know ah?" i a bit lag cannot meh? :) anyw i passed!:D then during PC, we went to the computer lab to do our E-port folio which was due last friday)... i finished mine on friday alr (i chiong-ed like mad) so during that 1h slack only :D just that the photographs i haven upload yet...

eww. 谢老师has such a high-pitched voice... and she used it for the last 10min of our lessons today... so ear-piercing until sonia used a super annoyed voice and asked 谢老师to stop it :( but 谢老师only lowered her pitch by a tiny weeny bit for a while and then continued her nonsense (including spitting saliva everywhere as she spoke)
that's why i hate sitting in front... almost all, or practically all teachers spit saliva over your tables as they talk... suddenly one drop of water lands on your hand and you innocently clean it off... unknowingly, you just touched the saliva of the teacher you hate most (not refering to 谢老师)! yuck, maybe i should stop disgusting myself, really :)

happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to isabelle, happy birthday to you! :)today we had CCA from 9.15-10.15a.m... the lessons are so expensive! $60 a month (4 lessons and each lesson is only 1h), $15 registration fee and $650 for the erhu! so today we just learnt the basics (its our first CCA this year, surprised?) and next week i'll be attending the 10.15-11.15a.m class instead... both classes are the same but i had to change because the 9.15a.m class got 7 ppl and maximum is only 6 :( Wednesday, April 8, 2009

today was so embarrassing (i spelt "embarrassing" correct for once!) Mr wong forced those people who are born in April (anni, isabelle and me) to stand in front of the class and listen to the whole class sing birthday song for us... actually at first was only anni and isabelle, then sonia told Mr wong that got me also... argh :( anyway after school me and sonia went to do book binding for the Algebra maths notes that we received today... sonia at first say cost $2, 吓死我了... so expensive?! then after that we found out that its only 65 cents -.-

Happy April Fools Day!
today's April fool pranks were damn funny :D after assembly we went to 1F where Ms Tan pretended to play along with us and said those who dint bring their Geography books must stand up... the whole class stood up and quickly ran away :) chinese lesson Shiyuan chewed the blood capsule and pretended to cough blood then faint... sijie said that the capsule tastes disgusting yuck! and after recess half of the class went to 1B and half of 1B stayed in our own class :) at that time 1B having Chinese supposed to write compo, so 可怜... then during science Shiyuan chewed the blood capsules again... he wanted to attract Mr Hong's attention so sijie told Mr Hong that Shiyuan not feeling well, when Mr Hong came to Shiyuan he started to cough, but Mr Hong never get tricked :( he said that sijie not hysterical enough so he suspected that its a prank... he also said that sijie must scream, "Ahh! my Shiyuan!" LOL .
worse-ly, Mr Hong "imitated" sijie's voice in a super girly+ disgusting voice... yuck! hmm anyway today April fool pranks damn funny... hopefully we can do it again next year? :)

oh and Mr Swee uses a teddy bear handkerchief and doesn't seem to mind at all... last friday, he locked the guys outside the classroom, sat on the teachers' table, took out his teddy bear handkerchief, cleaned his face, put it over his shoulder, then 理直气壮-ly walked towards the door, stuffed the handkerchief back into his pocket, opened the door, and asked the guys why they were late...

hello!:) me & jie jie went to Kallang Leisure Park yesterday morning:) since we went there early and most of the shops were not open yet, we went bowling first, or rather is she went bowling. i cant even lift the lightest ball with 1 hand, let alone bowl lahh :(
o.0 anyway jie jie played 2 games and each game is $2.50 + shoes $1.10... first game she broke her record with a score of 102... and you were so proud of it, don't deny- still use handphone take photo.
so after that we went to eat lunch (YUMMY!) and go shopping... actually nothing much to shop, went to like only 2 or 3 shops... all we bought was a tiny cow soft-toy :)  - photo she took :D |
